A B O U T  U S

The Georgetown University Ballroom Dance Team (GUBDT) is an official student organization at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, under the supervision of the Student Activities Commission. 



​GUBDT has four components: lessons, social events, competitions, and performances. Feel free to immerse yourself in as many or as few as you would like!

L E S S O N S

We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced lessons taught by professional dance instructor Dan Calloway. 

S O C I A L I Z E

We have several informal dance nights throughout the year open to the public,  offering the opportunity to try out ballroom dancing in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

C O M P E T E

 We compete at multiple venues across the East Coast in both the spring and fall semesters.

P E R F O R M

We offer team members the opportunity to perform at multiple venues each year.
